TYAN, an industry-leading server platform provider, recently announces its new array of servers are now VMware Ready Certified.  This designation indicates that its new array of servers have completed the VMware Hardware Certification Program testing criteria for use with VMware ESX 3.5 and 3.5i and are now listed on the VMware Hardware Compatibility Guide. The VMware Hardware Certification Program enables VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program members to provide mutual customers with jointly supported hardware solutions.

 

Passing the extensive certification testing helps ensure that these new server platforms are compatible with VMware technology and ready for deployment in customer environments.

 

As a member of the VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program, TYAN is aggressively utilizing VMware virtualization software technology in TYAN hardware platforms. The nine servers that have recently passed VMware Ready certification for VMware ESX 3.5 and VMware ESX 3.5i include TA26-B2932-E, TA26-B3992-E, TA26-B5397, TX46-B4985-E, VX50-B4985-8P-E, S4985-E, S3992-E, S5397 and S2932-E.
