GIGA-TMS will exhibit among other items two newly released products that are easy to program and configure at customers' end at TAITRONICS 2009.
Basic Programmable Ethernet Data Terminal FAT810
FAT810 is a TCP/IP enabled compact terminal offering data management applications for Shop Floor to Food Court and Departmental Store to Campus Shop.
It serves as a BASIC programmable embedded technology product with multi language support, keypad, LCD display, beep pattern control and 4 external device ports for POS and related devices. It has Tibbo TIOS platform with programming fundamentals similar to Quick and Visual Basics to facilitate quick learning and development of applications. Bundled with easily configurable software utility, it is also configurable by creating an html webpage. It also manages membership and bonus data management applications via network on integration with RFID Card Readers.
Programmable Time Recorder TR610
The TR610 is a simple and easy-to-use Time Recorder. It utilizes RFID technology to allow for quick user registration --- users may not even have to take their employee card out of their wallet to swipe it. TR610's bright LCD display and four buttons make for a simple interface with a very low learning curve. Using familiar icons from other GigaTMS products, new users quickly understand how to clock in and clock out. The display also shows the current time, date and memory status.
The display can also be used to configure the device: Using a "Master Card", the Administrator can access the on-screen menu system and change device settings. The menu system is navigated using the four buttons on the device. Ethernet connectivity and an integrated web server make the TR610 easy to administer remotely. Its password-protected web interface allows an administrator to remotely manage all device settings, and download or search the internal event log. Since the TR610 has a built-in web server, it does not require additional software to administer. Alternatively, for larger systems with multiple terminals, you could use Tibbo AggreGate as an administrative back-end.
