[CeBIT Report] EtherWAN Promotes Ethernet Connectivity Solution and Equipments at CeBIT

Booth No.: Hall 12, D06 (A01)
therWAN Systems, Inc., a leader in Ethernet connectivity, strongly promotes their Ethernet connectivity solution and equipments including Ethernet switches, media converters, and Ethernet extenders at CeBIT 2008.

"In the industry, we play a role as the bridge to shorten the digital gap," says Laurence Lin, Executive Vice President of EtherWAN. "Try to think that we give the third world Eee PCs, but without the Ethernet and Internet, how can those children connect to the world."

Based on the fore-mentioned concept, EtherWAN devotes itself to the development of related products. Their Hardened series, an advanced industrial version, feature wide operating temperature (-40C~75C), steady protection, search protection and anti-explosion, to allow a well function in all kinds of harsh outdoor environments.

For those customers looking for competitive prices or a fiber-free solution, EtherWAN also launched an alternative solution called Poor Man Fiber. Simply using telephone lines and VDSL, the easy communication (50MB within 600 meters, 1MB within 1.9 km) can be achieved without high costs and fibers.

Lin emphasizes that EtherWAN positions itself as a professional provider of industrial Ethernet connectivity solutions. The company will keep pursuing product completeness. At CeBIT 2008, they will highlight this competitive advantage to visitors.
