With every quick touch clerks make on a POS screen, it’s not
hard to realize the important role that POS system plays in our
everyday life. Originally POS system worked as an Electronic
Ordering System (EOS) for one-way receiving functions, demanding
little more than stability. Nowadays, “POS” transforms to run as
“Point-of-Services” for a wide range of retail applications.
Running more than a Electronic Cash Register (ECR), POS system
further becomes a crucial part of multi-service that related
suppliers are willing to massively make good use of PC-based
core technology on high efficient industrial components like CPU
and chipsets than before.
Taking advantage of many years of experience, Taiwan IPC
suppliers strive to provide proper solutions for different
operating environments. In the POS system fields, how to lead in
expanding applications and solutions is the key question that
currently drives suppliers forward.
While
leaning towards multi-service, hardware suppliers like IPC
suppliers not only focus on their hardware development, but also
appeal to cooperating with SI partners as “point of service
solutions” providers. In doing so, POS system products can be
designed to more accurately meet the needs of a cross section of
users.
