It is more important to provide fresh solution to fulfill consumer needs and boost the overall purchasing power from the perspective of creative products and vital marketing strategy rather than new technology itself.
Cost-friendly product is the key trend but with a totally new definition which refers to stylish, creative, diverse, multiple-functions, high value-added. An acceptable price but luxury-quality fashion looks like Netbook is new hope to head the market while the global economy falling into the valley. The retail price ranges from US$299 to 500 is wildly accepted by the consumers with its all embedded networking, operation system features and stunning looks. It is also believed that Netbook is going to grab the entire mature and emerging markets with almighty sales force and user-friendly interface and lead the NB and PC industry in 2008. The current short supply of Intel ATOM particularly explains the future hot sell of Netbook in the coming year.
