Thank you for your participation in COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2008. It was your participation that made our tradeshow such a successful one. 2008 is critical year for COMPUTEX TAIPEI. Apart from the use of the new Taipei World Trade Center NANGANG Exhibition hall and the other 3 venues, we also saw some record-breaking numbers: 1,725 exhibitors using 4,492 booths; an average growth of 21.80% of media participation; the number of international buyers reached 34,685 with more than 70,000 local visitors. More than 2,000 procurement meetings organized by TAITRA has created business opportunity of 2 billion US dollars; the tradeshow itself is estimated to bring about at least 20 billion US dollars! It was our pleasure to have you with us in this year's tradeshow. As the organizing team is already busy working on COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2009, we look forward to seeing you in June next year!

According to MIC (Market Intelligence Center, Taiwan), an ICT industry research institute based in Taipei, due to the expanding consumer market segment for notebook PCs and strong demand in emerging markets, shipment volume of the Taiwanese notebook PC industry for the full-year 2008 is expected to reach over 110 million units.
